Beijing HCSTCOM's subway PIS-OPS fiber optic transmission products have contributed to the construction of the "Wuxi Metro Line 4 platform PIS system."
With the modernization of cities, subway travel has become the primary choice of transportation for people. The future development of urban rail transit systems in China will have a significant impact on our lives. The subway's Passenger Information System (PIS) has become an essential guide for passengers and a platform for news, advertising, and media promotion.
In response to the PIS system requirements of the Wuxi Metro Line 4 platform and station hall, our company successfully developed "a solution that utilizes fiber optic transmission as the medium". The HDMI signal output from the control server in the equipment room is transmitted to the PIS system transmitter, which converts the HDMI signal into an 8-channel FC port fiber optic output.
These signals are then transmitted via fiber optics to the large-screen televisions on the platform and in the station hall. The platform televisions use Philips professional TVs with OPS input interfaces. Our company designed OPS interface fiber optic receivers that can be directly plugged into the OPS interface, requiring only fiber optic connection. The OPS interface integrates HDMI video and a DC12V power interface, providing power to the OPS fiber optic receiver.
Through this successful application, Beijing HCSTCOM Co., Ltd. has also developed OPS fiber optic receivers with SDI as the transmission protocol, as well as SDI vehicle-mounted primary and backup switcher for subway car-mounted PIS systems. The company's product line has expanded further, with an increase in application cases, establishing a certain level of brand awareness in the subway PIS industry.
